match.IT! is a recent but already proven series of events as part of eSchwechat.at with an emphasis on international matchmaking.

match.IT! was called into being by Innovation Consultancy in 2004 and organised in partnership with ITBeurope. Since Autumn 2005, a new partner defrag your mind has joined us to organise the match.IT! series.

Getting to know people is the main aim of match.IT!. Through short, focussed lectures on pre-chosen special themes, hand-picked business experts bring us to the core of the matter: Matchmaking. New contacts are made and existing ones consolidated, whether it’s at the buffet or in pre-arranged meetings.

Partnerships are planned; expertise and ideas mingle in a pleasant and conducive atmosphere.

match.IT! is aimed at businesses and management staff in the Information and Communication Technology branch and also at the founders of businesses. The geographical focus is the Vienna region (Vienna, Lower Austria and the Burgenland) as well as the parts of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary just over the border which all come together to form newly termed region of Centrope. Participants from other parts of Europe (e.g. Finland and Germany) and the World (e.g. Canada), however, are taking part at these events with increasing frequency.

The events last for the whole day and are restricted to around 50 guests from home and abroad. Entry is either free or provided with a participation fee. Registration is required. The event language is English.
